Why RoamSonar

Honest by construction

Unknown specs show as “—”, never a guess. Throttled “unlimited” gets badged. If a plan needs ID checks, we say so before you buy.

Prices, decoded

Per-GB math on every plan, and verified coupons applied before we rank anything — the price you see is the price you pay.

Free, always

Providers pay us a commission when you buy through our links. You never pay extra, and it never changes rankings — the formula is public.

Sailing somewhere?

Regular eSIMs stop about 12 nautical miles from shore. Maritime plans are coming to RoamSonar — for now, check your itinerary's port countries below.

Good questions

What's an eSIM, in one sentence?

A digital SIM you install with a QR code — data for your trip in about two minutes, no store visit, no tiny plastic tray.

What does “throttled unlimited” mean?

Many “unlimited” plans slow you down (for example to 1 Mbps) after a daily cap. When a provider tells us the throttle rules we translate them to plain English and badge the plan; when they don't, we show “—” instead of guessing.

Are the coupon prices real?

Yes. A strikethrough only appears when we have a working, verified code — like ESM15, which is applied automatically when you click through our link — and we rank plans by the price you'd actually pay.

How fresh are these prices?

Our feeds re-sync every 30 minutes and every page shows a real “updated X ago” stamp. If data goes stale, we tell you instead of pretending.

How does RoamSonar make money?

Affiliate commissions from providers when you buy through our links. It never affects ranking — the exact formula is public on our How we rank page.
